The movie is a romantic action comedy directed by Ahsan Rahim and will be his directorial debut in the film industry.“Teefa in trouble” stars Maya Ali as Anya and Ali Zafar as Teefa in lead roles alongside Mehmood Aslam, Nayyar Ejaz, Faisal Qureshi, Jawed Sheikh and Semi Raheel. Even though Ali has acted in Bollywood before and Maya is an acclaimed drama actress this is the first time the two of them will be appearing on the Pakistani big screen.Ali Zafar playing “Teefa” when asked about his character in the movie on a talk show said” Teefa is a character based in interior Lahore, Teefa is basically used as pet name for Latif locally, he works for someone named Butt Sahab, performs various antics and it’s going to be interesting to watch. Teefa is charged with a task that ultimately becomes a challenge for him.”Shot at some stunning locations in Poland and Lahore the movie hits the screens on 20th July and promises to be filled with emotions, action and a whole lot of giggles.
